Where can I find information on getting a visa to live in Colombia?

I am trying to move to Colombia to live with my Fiance. Plan to become a resident and marry while over there too. I cant seem to find any info on getting a Residence Visa for Colombia or what exactly I need to do to become a Resident. Can someone please fill me in a little? thanks

Thanks but I still don't see anything on information for an immigrant(me being a us citizen) becoming a resident of Colombia

Are you looking to live forever or just for a while? In order for you to get a resident visa you need to be married to your fiance, they you can apply for a Residence visa or a temporary visa which gives lets you live in colombia for 2 years with the option to renew for another year. After 3 years living in colombia you can get the colombian residence.

I had this type of visa while I was waiting for my wife US visa to be approved. If you need more info search the colombian embassy website.

If you are going just for a 6 months and you hold a US passport you will be given a 60 day visa upon arrival. You can ask for a 90 day visa t by saying you will visit your fiance/husband (my visas are typically stamped 90 days). Once you have obtained this you can go to a DAS office and get up to a total of 6 months as a tourist. Anything more you will need some sort of residency visa. I would suggest writing to the email address provided for the Colombian Embassy in the US which was given above.
