Right so I have to share with my fellow UK'ers, because I am so darn happy about this last couple of days as well as what next week brings.

So we officially have the visa now, which is the best news without it the other things couldn't happen. Tim will be home next Friday night 8 days, 14 hours and 24 minutes from now, but who is counting? He also got the details of his contract from his current employer, so he can continue to work from HOME once he arrives in the states. The contract is only for 10 weeks to start, but he has been given many positives that it might continue or he will get a whole different one. The best part is that he will be making nearly double what he is now, which will help us make a fresh start here in the states, all of these months (nearly years) has really put a strain on us financially and it will be nice to finally once again be able to save something. With this job he will also be required to fly back to the UK, which will give him the opportunity to see his children through our adjustment phase at someone elses expense! Needless to say we are very happy!

(F) Thanks! We have the CR-1, which entitles him to work from the start and with it being his UK employer he wont need the ssn or green card so no worries waiting for that to arrive. Know you are happy about that, it buys us time to find something here for him if they don't keep him on just knowing he will not be unemployed is a blessing in itself.

Congrats on your visa, and yes good things always/ten dto happen in 3.

I do not wish to share any information about this dead end journey.........I have reached my final destination on this train, and it is time for me to get off.

THIS TOO SHALL PASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"If marriage means you fell in love, does divorce mean you climbed out?"

"You never really know a man until you have divorced him."-Zsa Zsa Gabor

"When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house. And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife." Deuteronomy 24:1-2

"When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on." - Franklin D. Roosevelt

"When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us." - Helen Keller

"Even though you may want to move forward in your life, you may have one foot on the brakes. In order to be free, we must learn how to let go. Release the hurt. Release the fear. Refuse to entertain your old pain. The energy it takes to hang onto the past is holding you back from a new life. What is it you would let go of today?" - Mary Manin Morrissey

"I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish that He didn't trust me so much." - Mother Theresa

Hi Ya Lady !!!

Glad to see all is going well at last.

Graham got his SS # today when we got back from our holiday (which was great) but we got a letter from DHS that states that his I-89 (biometrics) never got to Texas.

Someone dropped the ball there...

So, next week he has to go dowtown and get another set taken-no big deal, but another pain in the a** to sort out.

Hopefully he will find work soon, and we'll be sittin' pretty !

Good to hear Tim's can work from home and visit the kids ! Awesome !

:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

I have to run, but will speak soon !

Good to hear you have news...

How was your holiday? I am sure you had a great time!

Sheesh on the Biometrics! Seems typical with the f*** ups coming out of London lately. Tim was reading the cover page on his MBE and they have a number transposed on my zip code, going to have to get that sorted out otherwise he wont get a green card or ssn either! Strange it is correct on everything but this one final piece of paper. Won't you just be happy when you don't have to deal with any of this anymore?

Glad to see you back!

Bethanie
