All went well at the embassy except that I was the last person attended to due to the fact that my original interview date was changed as my it fell on a holiday

I arrived at the embassy @ 6:50am. By 7:30am we started forming 2 queues at the entrance of the embassy. One queue was for non-immigrant and the other for immigrant visas like the K1. BY 8:00am we were all seated inside the embassy @ the consulate section.

As I initially said, they had to attend to those who originally had their appointment today before attending to those of us whom our interview date fell on the holiday and was scheduled for today.

I was finally called @ 11:45 to present all documents and forms requested in my pocket 3 and every other evidence I had. (NOTE: the embassy do not accept the new DS-160 form- Just fill all the forms in packet 3 given by the embassy, again DO NOT print anything from the internet because they wont accept it)

30 mins later I was called to take my finger print (biometric). I was called again in another 15 mins for my interview.

These were the questions asked:

*Who filed for you?

*How did u meet her?

*Has she married before?

*Does she have kids?

*What is the age of the oldest and the youngest?

*What does she do?

"What is her position @ work?

----mind you, the questions were asked based on the evidence I presented. so your questions might be different but they will definitely ask you how u MET-------

After answering all these perfectly, the Consular passed all my docs to me and gave me a colored paper indicating my pick up date and time for the VISA. ***I'll Pick Up my visa on Dec. 10th

All in all, I did not face any problem with my interview. They were nice and were professional. They treated each case differently. My advice is make sure you have MORE THAN ENOUGH EVIDENCE to back everything because thats the ONLY way to prove your case not just answering questions. GET TO KNOW YOUR PARTNER before going because they\'re professionals and very much experience.

GOOD LUCK ..

Congrats! Guess you will have to do some shopping to get lots of sweaters for your loved one. with the weather difference and all! lol. And reading your description of the interview was pretty refreshing... This has to be one of the more "positive" experiences I've seen so far.
