As I read your comments, I realize how similar your cases are to ours/mine. Weather its age difference or cultural differences are concerned, I have the same issues. My fiance and I, don't think age is an issue, and I am older than he is. It sounds like the Embassy might have an issue with it for at his interview they did ask him several times if the age did not bother him? He was placed on AP for reasons unknown???? But was not denied at his interview. So we keep our hopes up. It has been four months now and no reply.

I remind myself that, as an USC, I have rights and those rights include marrying the man I love regardless of our differences. WE are both adults and it is a personal choice and not theirs.

So to those of you with older partners, I salute you for taking a risk and following your hearts and not so much what others say. Happiness is worth overcoming the differences. I wish you each the best life has to offer.

I can understand that. I am considerably older than my fiancee and people think he is older than me or at least my age. The age difference bothered me at first but when I actually met him face to face that all disappeared.

I appear to be younger than I am as when I am with my son, people think he's my husband...lol I love it...Him? not so much!!
