Did you complete a Bachelor's degree or higher at an accredited post-secondary institution? If so, you don't need to include the name of your grammar school on the resume...just the university or college where you completed your post-secondary degree(s).

No, I became a farrier through apprenticeship.

I've loved being a farrier, but my body is getting too old to take the kind of punishment involved, so I must begin a new chapter :(

PS The job I'm applying for is still working with livestock, but in a completely different capacity (dairy herd testing).

I don't have a degree to put at the top of my education either. I addressed my grammar school education by listing my GSCEs and the rough equivalency, and the same with my A Levels, and by putting a note next to my school name saying that it was an academically selective high school.

Make sure you're wearing clean knickers. You never know when you'll be run over by a bus.

If you graduated from grammar school, it is sufficient to write "High School Diploma" and the year you graduated. Listing GSCEs or Levels is unnecessary, since most people won't understand it in here. Americans don't list their GPA scores (unless it is extremely high) on their resumes and neither should you.
