Hi,

I, Francesca, (petitioner) sent in Lobo's (beneficiary) K-1 visa petition this summer, and received the NOA 1 on July 12th 2010. Anyone else still waiting from July 2010..??? It will be 5 months Dec. 12th. Isn't this a little long?? My service center is California and Lobo's country is Brazil....do these have anything to do with the wait time?? Also, we did not use a lawyer, I did everything myself.

Thanks for any advice, guidance, and comments....

Francesca

My I-129f visa petition is currently over the 5 month posted adjudication time as posted on the USCIS web site as my petition was received 7/29/2010 it has been 5 months and 9 days. My case number is XXXXXXXX at the Vermont Service Center. It was touched once 0n October 3, 2010 but I believe this touch was caused by them moving the boxes it was in, as of today 1/7/2011 there has been no action on it. I respectfully request that your office look into this matter as it is past the posted time. There have been other petitions received after mine already adjudicated. Thanking you in advance sincerely

Thanks, John. That would be useful for me too. I've been given the 20-day go away line. So will try the Senator/Congressman route next.

Just got off the Phone with USCIS and was told by a very pleasant woman that yes the case is over the ESTIMATED time but that they were unable to process a service request until after 30 days past...So I guess their website on time estimates is wrong they should post 6 months on the time for adjudication not 5 months. As I have already contacted my Senator and will see where that process leads. They do read off a script and I was also told they are currently working on July 10th filings which posted two weeks earlier on this site some one else was told the same date....working on July 10th filers. I was told to call back in 17 days...as that would be 30 days past. Ya just gotta luv bureaucracy at its finest...lol we have the best bureaucracy in the world...lol. On a lighter note Planning on a trip to visit her in April Unless something else shakes loose and VSC gets off their duffs and things start happening with the application. At least I have the planned visit to look forward to.
