I am wondering what happened? No one got NOA2 during last two days?

Waiting is killing me! I told my fiance that I am ready to pack and move to the Ukraine! One little problem is that I am business owner and a bread winner at this time. He asked me to wait a little longer and I know that hi is right but it's sooooo hard.

FRANCESCA,

IT TOOK 161 DAYS FOR THE APPROVAL OF MY FIANCE, FROM THE PHILIPPINES. 2 WEEKS OF THAT WAS BECAUSE I MADE A MISTAKE AND HAD TO RESPOND TO THE RFE THEY SENT. YOU ARE DOING JUST FINE, DON'T WORRY, BECAUSE THE GOVERNMENT IS SLOW AND NOTHING YOU CAN SAY OR DO WILL SPEED THEM UP. CALIFORNIA IS THE SLOWEST BECAUSE OF THE OVERLOAD OF ILLEGALS TRYING TO GET GREEN CARDS.

DON'T WORRY, YOU WILL GET IT.

CAPTAIN MARVEL

Hi,

I, Francesca, (petitioner) sent in Lobo's (beneficiary) K-1 visa petition this summer, and received the NOA 1 on July 12th 2010. Anyone else still waiting from July 2010..??? It will be 5 months Dec. 12th. Isn't this a little long?? My service center is California and Lobo's country is Brazil....do these have anything to do with the wait time?? Also, we did not use a lawyer, I did everything myself.

Thanks for any advice, guidance, and comments....

Francesca

Are you going for the K1 visa?

Oh I looked at your timeline, you're CR-1. This a K1 forum.

Hey lobo e loba,

We applied our K1 on July 29th, got our NOA1 August 5th and our NOA2 October 5th. Our filling location is California service center. Now NVC has our case and its taking very long for them to process it, I guess because USCIC accepted us so early and now NVC is holding on to it! Dont worry yours will come soon, I dont think it will take more than 5 months.

wow, that's pretty fast and you applied at CSC? My NOA1 is dated July 17, 2010, it will be 5 months on December 17, and have yet to received NOA2. Sometimes i think if the CSC threw my case to the trash bin, sad to say but we can't really do anything about it, we are at their mercy, if they want to work on or not totally depends on their discretion. Oh God...:(

I just hope i'm still alive when my NOA2 is finally approve..hahaha! I just wish there's a way to know if the CSC will ever work on it. It seems next to impossible for them to finally approve it. :(
