Hello im here again i just forgot one more question that worries me,please bare with me... Is the poverty guideline requirement are based on the income after deductions of all taxes or it was based in the income before deductions of all taxes? thank you so much ..im so blessed with this site visa journey people here are so helpful..again thank you gary and alla for making things clear to me about the contractual job.

Line 22 of the US citizen's form 1040 tax return if self employed. The gross wages if the US citizen earns just a salary or hourly wage.

It depends on which deductions you're talking about. Generally, it's income after any business deductions, and before any personal deductions. On a 1040 or 1040A it would be the line labeled "Total Income". On a 1040EZ it would be the line labeled "Adjusted Gross Income".

Thank you so much Anh map and Jim :star:... my fiance has a full time contractual work..at the first two months of his work he was having just a salary of 1600 monthly without tax deductions , will this 1600 without deductions yet can be consider as above poverty guideline income?then for 3 months now he got increased and earning 3000 monthly still without deductions...He said he will pay all taxes such us federal tax and social security tax and medicare tax at the end of the year.. Basing in this situation will he be qualified as a sponsor with above poverty guideline? Thank you so much so much for helping me here anh map and jim... I am not confident now to go to interview im scared .:help:
