I864 Povery Guidelines

Ok, So i am not sure what to do here. I filled out the I864 and based on my 2009 tax return I dont meet the poverty guidlines, but according to line 23 on the I864 form my annual income is different because i used my total income up to date for 2010. Can i do that? i have included a copy of that paystub as well, Since its november it shows my annual income upto date in 2010 which is more than the 125% of poverty. Should i leave it as is or do i need a joint sponsor?

Going by your tax returns is one way to meet the income levels. You can also (as you have stated) include a letter from your employer and paystubs showing that your CURRENT employment meets/exceeds the poverty levels.

You would write your current annual income on the forms, and the letter from employer and paystubs would show that that information is correct.
