I have a question, I don't understand why people who submitted their application for K1 visa (I-129F) after others already have the NOA2? According to the timeline I had to receive the NOA2 between november 25th and november 29th and now there is no information available.

I have reviewed Igor's list and I can see that people who send their application a week later that I already have the NOA2.

I hope you can help me.

Thank you very much.

I really don't think it works like that...they don't all come in that order: if you look at timelines, some people who applied in August received it before the ones that applied in July: the California center is even more chaotic: some people who applied in September already got the NO2. I really don't think there's a rule, some get approved in no time and some take the full 5 months: it's a game of luck!

I filed in Sept through the CSC. When I spoke with an Immigration Officer just today, she said "Call us back if you haven't heard anything in another month." Does this possibly mean that California is picking up the pace? *hopes*

Who knows!! I really don't think any of us can predict anything: if anyone gets their NO2 in less then 5 months, consider yourself lucky. I certianly hope I am one of them, but have been preparing for a long wait anyway.

You are so much more patient than I. I wish I knew your secret! All this stress about a possibly rejection of my petition has left me not only MORE impatient than before, but also so worried I'm physically sick! :P

This one is interesting since while it was sent in July 19, the NOA1 was in the first of September. Interview in November. If only we were all that lucky. :wow:

I can relate to everyone's impatience! We filed in August. I checked and re-checked the paperwork but still would like to find out if we will get an RFE or not! And when we do get the NOA2 and can make an interview date, in Cuba the interviews are being scheduled for 7 to 8 months from NOA2. So it is hard when my patience is already wearing thin. Hang in there folks! At least most of you are looking at 5 or 6 months - not 11!
