Hello all, Just curious if anyone who filed late July early august has received any info/update on the K-1 status?.. Currently 119 days in been to Brasil to visit my girl 3 times since filing and ..NADA!!..lol.. was just wondering if anyone around my time frame on the USA side or Brasil side have gained any ground?.. USCIS just feels like a giant black hole you throw money and paper work into with no response.. Any and all insight is appreciated

Can you be specific when you say filed-is that when you first sent your I129f in? Nothing-as in Vermont service center has not even given you a receipt? Have your filed online to get online updates?

Wishing you the best of luck!

I think most people are going with the date you received your NOA1...which is when the service center "acknowledges" your petition.

Things seem to be moving at a steady pace for July filers now, so I don't see any reason logically that August filers wouldn't be the next to be processed, or have to wait longer than the 5 month average. Seems right now the CSC is approving people in about 4-4.5 months based on all I've read on here.. so we should be lucky if we start to get ours within that time frame. January is not so far away! It'll be our time soon.

Filed for K1 August 2010

NoA1 received August 26

NoA2 text and email Feb 1 2011 :)

Packet 3 sent May 24

Packet 4 received June 2

Interview on June 14- APPROVED!!!

Please check the August threads for any progress on the August filers. Also, the Immigration Timelines listed on this website will give you an idea of which months the service centers are currently processing. :) Right now, CSC is about mid-July, so we August filers should be hearing fairly soon.
