Yeah, the WSJ knows nothing about business. It's typical that you sink to a Murdoch comment when faced with facts. And no, we will not get to see how wrong I am. The tax cuts will be extended. Some people realize what this last election was all about. So who really cares if you are totally wrong about this. You and your side lost and congress will pass the extension.

Wanna talk about facts? The fact is that hiring is up - most of it by small businesses. Impossible if your argument was right. The fact is that the unemployment rate peaked lower than in the last severe recession in the early 80's - even though that recession was much milder than this one. The fact is that at this point into the recovery we're looking better than we did 30 years ago by any indicator. The fact is lack of capital for small businesses is more of a concern than top marginal income tax rates when it comes to expanding - there's a measure that the pro-small business  GOP is and has been blocking in the Senate to address that very issue.

But hey, keep on living in that bubble. I'll continue to be successful in real business in the real world.

Yeah, unemployment is all gone. It may be best in 3 years but you forgot that the last 3 years really sucked. So we are just sucking a little less. Big deal. Talk to me when the unemployment rate is 5%.

5%? The Gipper didn't even make that. He averaged 7.5% over his two terms in office with monthly highs at almost 11% and annual rates of 9.7% and 9.6% in 1982 and 1983. He didn't reach rates close to 5% until the end of his second term. And the receission he was handed was half the recession Obama was handed. So let's try and live in the real world for a moment, okay?

You want to share where you get your talking points? I bet you get the DNC newsletter every week. You sound as if your paid to talk things up. Tell me, if things are so good why is unemployment still at 9.6%? If this is your idea of a recovering economy then I can't help you. I have seen some blind hyper-partisan people before but you are a right up at the top.

These are not talking points. My post is comprised of references to certain data points that are readily available to anyone who has an interest. I do have an interest. Unlike folks that tune into Rush and Glenn, I prefer to peruse actual news sources. I'm not interested in DNC newsletters - the Democrats have sucked the last two years not delivering that for which they were elected. They paid a price this November and I think they needed to pay that price.

Funny, you sound just like the dem pols I see on TV. Some of it is word for word. You sound like a robot. No matter, the tax cuts will be extended. Elections have consequences. The consequence of this one is the halt of the wreck less economic policies of Obama and the dems. It starts right here. No one will have their taxes raised despite what you and your DNC talking points might want.

Sorry, I'm not much of a TV watching person. I read news since there's not much to be had on TV that resembles actual journalism anymore.

Still, you are regurgitating word for word what the dem politicians are saying on the talk shows. It really does sound like you are reading a script.
