Email with Card/Document Production

Well, yesterday 11/27/2010...we received an email from USCIS stating that in response to our submitted I485 to adjust status, they have started the production of our new card. The only strange part is that we had our Biometrics in September, but never had the subsequent interview. In all, we have gotten our advance parole, EAD, biometrics and now an email stating that we will be receiving our card. When I check USCIS website, it says the same about the card in production.

We just want to be sure before being excited about not having an interview. Any others have a similar experience? Zita and Michael

K-1 Visa:

I-129F sent: 11-21-2009

I-129F NOA1: 11-24-2009

I-129F NOA2: 02-25-2010

I-129F NOA2 (hardcopy) 03-03-2010

NVC arrived: 03-05-2010

NVC departed: 03-09-2010

Juarez Interview/Medical: 04-20-2010

Visa in Hand: 04-21-2010

Smiling at me in Raleigh: 05-08-2010

Wedding: 06-27-2010

AOS packet sent: 08-02-2010

AOS receipt received from USCIS 08-13-2010

Advance Parole received 09-28-2010

Biometrics appt in Raleigh: 11-07-2010

EAD approved/card received: 11-22-2010

AOS/green card in production: 11-26-2010

It sounds like there is no interview :thumbs: Many cases that get transferred to CSC usually do not get an interview when adjusting from a K1. Congrats :dance:

01/2006 - Filed k1(1st time)

04/2006 - Interview (1st time) denied

Waited, waited...... no review

06/2009 - Filed k1 (2nd time)

09/2009 - NOA 2 approved

12/2009 - Interview (2nd time) APPROVED! VISA ISSUED

02/2010 - Arrived USA

04/2010 - Married

AOS Timeline

4/19/2010-Sent to Chicago Lockbox

4/26/2010-Received texts and emails 7th day

4/30/2010-Received NOA's(Hardcopies) 11th day

5/3/2010-Received ASC appointment notice(mailed 4/29/2010)14th day

5/7/2010-Walk-in Biometrics done(2 weeks earlier)18th day

5/13/2010-Case transferred to CSC

6/2/2010- Case received/resumed at CSC

6/18,6/22,6/23 AOS touches

6/28/2010- EAD production and touch on AP

6/29/2010-AOS APPROVED

7/2/2010- 2nd update on EAD production and touched on AP....

7/6/2010- Received "Welcome Letter" and AP document

7/12/2010-Received GREEN CARD and EAD

11/04/10 - Biometrics Letter Received

02/14/11 - AOS approved at Interview, GC ordered

02/22/11 - GC arrives in mail

12/17/12 - I-751 sent to California Service Center

12/20/12 - NOA1 arrives in mail

1/14/13 - Biometrics appointment

4/11/13 - RC Approved at Interview

4/22/13 - 10 Year Green Card arrived in mail

We received a duplicate e-mail reply in concern to the card production today. That makes two for her I485. At least we have received them, which is nice.
