Luggage Restrictions going to the PI

Hi friends. I really need your help :help: especially those who been through this experience when they left for the Philippines.

This is my first time to go back to the Philippines. With this being Christmas, I'm wondering what kind of restrictions, if any, I have for bringing things back in my luggage...For example, I am planning on 8 boxes of chocolate candies and most are cosmetics and fragrances(more than 100small pieces of them)for friends and family and a watch but no electronics. These will be all in 1 big luggage for check-in. Are we allowed to do it, for as long as we pay the baggage fee??

Nothing is for sale there..These are all gifts so I dont think I need to declare any value too, right?..

Please help. :help:

It can be different for each airline. Check out your airline's website.

Philippine Airlines is 2 checked bags free with a weight limit of 50lbs for each bag. Carry on is limit 1 bag and weight limit of 15lbs.

Don't forget that liquids are not allowed on carry-on baggage. I took 22 pounds of candy in my suitcases and the only thing they asked was if the i-pod was my personal one.
