I am genuinely sick and tired of waiting. It's been nearly 148 days and still nothing,no touches,no updates,no noa2,and to think this is just the first part of the whole thing and that our embassy is completely booked till march just makes it worse. How is it fair that some people go through the entire process in five months, when some have to wait five months to get their noa 2?I am really about to lose my cool and I think I have earned the right to over the past five months.

It's okay. We went through our waiting for nOA2 for nearly 5 months without even being able to see our case online. It was very frustrating, and I kept calling to ask them why our case was not even in the online system. Of course they had no answer other than the standard ones. This is the worst part of the process. You should have an answer soon and then hopefully move through the rest of this quickly. Look forward to March when you can hopefully have your interview. I know that sometimes just coming on here and sharing my feelings really helped alot. You will find plenty of sympathetic ears here. We found that no one but the people who had already gone through the process could truly understand our feelings. Our friends and family kept asking what was taking so long...sigh...it made me crazy. Try to focus on what you can control and make some simple plans (nothing time sensitive) for when you are together again. I hope you get some great news soon!

Hey menina, Can you please tell me what you mean by not being able to see your case online. It seems I am having the same problem. After I put my Noa1 recepit no. it keeps saying case not found. Check your receipt no. etc. When I get hold of a live person they ask me to wait for a few months or mail the CSC where my case has been transferred. Is that what you went through too? For all 5 months?? So should I just hang in there and not do anything about it? And thanks to you and others who have gone through this already for guiding us. Sorry for hijacking your thread ygr :hehe:

its alright,i think you should call CSC,give them your noa1 number and see if they can trace your case manually.

if you have filed just recently, then wait a couple of more weeks to see if they update their website.

to be honest tho, their website is not reliable at all.

Hang in there, ygr. Try to make the best of this time to say goodbye to the people, food and things around us. I've become a tourist in my residential country, going to visit places I've never been to, visit some favourite places, eat stuff that I'll quadruple the amount in the US, and giving away my possessions to some close friends. Plus, I've been going on Google Map's Streetview to get to know the area better. :-)

bahaha yamashi,im glad im not the only one. ive been google mapping the entire world for a couple of months now,i have developed insomnia during this process,so i spend my nights reading up about random things on wikipedia, googlemapping the places i know people from and doing everything under the sun.i think its too early to go through the tourist phase,we are stuck in this limbo ( well not with USCIS ) for another 6 months, but thats a plan.

good luck

I understand your feelings. Have been going banana myself while waiting for the NOA2. I even vent to visit my love to the Ukraine in the end of October for the weekend. Yes, I left the States on Thursday, arrived to his country late Friday evening and was back home on Tuesday afternoon. To tell you the truth, that trip didn't make things better for both of us. It's soooooooooooooooooooooo hard to say goodbye to your love, ones again not knowing when you would meet.

I am back home for a month and it was the darkest period of my life. Thanks god I found this site! Some hove i started to see the light again and i got my hope back. There are so many of us in love! Do you feel the energy? We could do it and we will!

PS. Think about how many people fly through their lives without experiencing a second of loving and being loved. Love worth the fight is in it?

I see your almost 5 months. You should hear something very soon, maybe this week. If not, I would call USCIS since you're so close to the processing times. Perhaps they can give you peace of mind.

I apologize if I am confusing you with another member, but hadn't you posted not too long ago asking how to cancel the process? I thought the beneficiary was no longer interested in the visa even though the petitioner still had hope that things would work out. Is that you? If not, I'm sorry for the confusion and I hope NOA2 gets to you soon!

I know, waiting is the hardest thing in life. Everything is going to come your way and all uncertainty would melt. Hey, you are in front of me for the NOA2. I got my NOA1 on 17th of July. Good luck to you first
