Unfortunately, I don't think you will be able to get a reasonable count from VJ regarding backlog in Ghana. Based on the stats on VJ generated by member time-lines there is not a large representation from those currently pursuing a CR1 in Ghana. But, based on the research everyone has done, there is backlog that has been confirmed by several US politicians. The word one of the vj members got from their congressman is that the Embassy is expecting movement at the beginning of next year - don't know exactly what that means. So, even if people don't respond to your post this has been confirmed as an issue existing only in Ghana as far we can tell. Just keep praying that all relationships are strong enough to survive this terrible situation that none of us could have predicted. Unfortunately, what is a high priority to us as individuals is not among the highest priorities for our government - I don't like it, but, I understand it - there is a lot on the plate of our government. My husband and I have been going through this visa process since 2008 (1st tried for a k1) and we are not yet in the cr1 line yet, so I do feel the pain everyone is going through. I love how we support each other this process - I do appreciate you all.
