I dont know if it wasn't for Skype I could have made it upto this point. Its truly a life saver. Regular phone cards for calling other family members.

And I took magic Jack to India this past summer.So it works like this. When you buy it here they will give a local area code number of your choice and then the device that they gave me is what I took to India with a small notebook/laptop with MJ software on it. So its free for calling anywhere in US.My family attached a handset to the laptop and they call anywhere anytime in the US for Free. Well I am paying $20.00 a year here which is penny change. I know it sounds too good to be true but it is. If you compare it to Vonage they have better sound quality but Magic jack is not bad and its waaayyy cheap.

I still prefer Skype Video. Nothing beats talking to your family face to face.:P

USCIS

10/04/10 - filed for I-130

2/14/11 - I-130 approved in 148 days

NVC

3/23/11 - NVC case number assigned

3/23/11 - Called NVC and gave email addresses to be added to case

3/26/11 - DS-3032 form received.

3/26/11 - Paid AOS fees online.

3/30/11 - AOS package received by NVC

4/8/11 - DS-230 Package IV fee payment option available, paid same day.

4/12/11 - Package IV fees shows as Paid. Mailed Package IV documents

4/14/11 - Package IV delivered to NVC.

4/26/11 - SIF!!

6/7/2011- Interview date

6/7/2011= Received 221g asking for co-sponsor

7/7/2011-VISA APPROVED
