Hi,

I'm Sending my N-400 Package USPS Express mail on Friday and i was wondering what would happen if they try to deliver the package on Saturday?????, would it be delivered or they would they re attempt to deliver the package on Monday?

if you have had this experience before please let me know what the outcome was

01/28/2011 Received the interview letter, Scheduled for 02/15/11 at San Francisco, CA

02/15/2011 Passed the Citizenship Interview, Thanks god

03/09/2011 I received my Oath letter scheduled for 03/23/2011 in Oakland, CA

03/23/2011 Finally became a US Citizen, it was a great Experience for the Oath Ceremony in Paramount Theatre.

03/24/2011 I applied for the Passport at San Francisco Passport Agency

03/25/2011 I received the Passport, FINALLY US Citizen, thanks god :-)

Why don't you just wait till Monday. There is no rush. It's more important to be sure it doesn't arrive before the 90 day limit. Arriving to early will end up in rejection of your file, which is worse than losing a couple of days.

Why don't you just wait till Monday. There is no rush. It's more important to be sure it doesn't arrive before the 90 day limit. Arriving to early will end up in rejection of your file, which is worse than losing a couple of days.

it won't actually be before the 90 day period. it will be within the 90 day period. i will be eligible to file on Friday Dec 3rd, so i wanna send it on Friday but i'm just wondering about the delivery.

i actually just called the USPS customer service and they said that if they tried to deliver it on Saturday and no one was there to receive it, they will attempt to deliver it on Monday which is perfect, i just wanted to make sure.

So, i have an update for y all,

i went to the USPS today and told the clerk that i want my package to be there on Monday and he arranged for my package to arrive at Phoenix, AZ on Monday Dec 6th by 12:00 pm Guaranteed. so if you are in the same boat like me and don't wanna wait until Monday to send your package and wanna send it on Friday, Here is your answer!!!!. Remember this is still USPS express mail.

So, Basically you can just avoid the weekend delivery.
