Hello all ...

We are assembling the k1 package and we are at the pictures point. We are printing them out on our printer and we were wondering if we can just let them be on the whole sheet of paper and they come out instead of cutting around the edges?? Can anyone please help us with this one...we are not sure how we need to place the pictures in the package.

thank you for ur understanding

For the few photos we sent, I printed them out on a Word document with descriptions and then attached real photos with labels on the back place into a baggie and then stapled to a blank page behind each photo page. I only sent 6 total.

Yes, you can do that as long as the photos are legible.

I hate being in front of the camera, we've done the whole thing from engagement to the final permanent residency with 3 pictures and a newspaper cutting of our engagement announcement. All are randoms of us out and about and none have been dated or labeled. I got the feeling that they don't really care about pictures so long as you can prove your relationship through documents and show that you can afford to live in the US with documents like bank statements and pay slips.

In the first interview (London) the pictures were never asked for but for the AoS the pics were taken and filed with the rest of our documents.

That might be enough in London, but I strongly suspect that would never fly in Algeria. The amount of evidence they expect to see rises in direct proportion to the level of visa fraud in the beneficiary's country. Read the consulate reviews for Algeria. It's nothing like the consulate in London.

@Keo, if you have a lot of pictures to choose from then pick a nice assortment from each trip. You shouldn't need more than a dozen from each trip - the CO isn't going to wade through hundreds of pictures. Try to avoid pics that look posed or staged. Choose pics that show you and your fiancee having fun together, especially if they include family and friends.

You should have pictures of both of you together and also with the others family is good. Since you have so many you might want to take some from different dates so that it shows your relationship spans over that whole time period. For the interview I would take actual photos not copies. Yeah you don't need too many pictures 100s sound like too many. Good luck!
