:D Hey Everyone in the African Forum!

Just wanted to share..last night i watched which just came out on DVD, Phat Girlz wit Mo'nique and that movie was hilarious.....What especially held my interest was how she and her best friend meet these hot Nigerian men!! Dont wanna give away too much but I will also add the famously beautifully written song, African Queen by 2face Idibia is also played in this movie. So if you want a feel good movie with some humor dished out by Mo'nique, the Queen of Comedy herself, then this movie is a must see!!! I liked it so much I bought and plan on watching it over and over!!! :D

Thanks for the heads up! It sounds really interesting and I'm excited to go and watch it. African Queen is my fiance and I's song! (L) That song is sooo nice and sweet. Anyway, I know the movie must be funny if Mo'nique is in it.

lol, now I really cant wait to see it! I saw the trailer for it this morning and was already cracking up at some of the stuff. I'm going to try to see it this weekend somehow.

The first time my husband and I ever went to a movie together in a theater (in Feb.) we saw the preview for this. We both thought it looked good and planned to see it. Then, we promptly forgot. I'm glad for the reminder.

I have to say that I watched the movie with some who do not know any Nigerians, and they did not get the "Nigerian" humor part of the movie like I did. I was in hysterics, and they just did not get it. :unsure:

I was reading his bio, and I was very surprised to discover that he wasn't Nigerian at all, but instead Haitian! :o
