Does the medical require full medical history or just vaccination records? Just wondering what i need to gather, as ive had a few different doctors because of uni and i wanna make sure i get all my records together!

Also, can I get my vaccinations through my own doctor if i know im missing a few? im sure its either free or at least cheaper!

Would this mean every cough or cold ive ever had?!

Cough and cold no, do you require all your vaccination records, yes. Is it worthwhile going to your GP for vaccination... yes.

I called Knights Bridge before I went, I asked them the sorts of questions you are asking, they will only be too happy to help you if you call them.

Your medical history is only required if they ask for it, I was asked for mine after the medical because of something that came up in my history, but generally you don't need them.... I would advise you to take it if you can, never wrong to have too much info but only submit it if it is requested by the doctor

Definitely get whatever vacs you can in the U.K., as they're expensive here. If you had chickenpox, make sure that your Varicella history is documented on your DS-3025 (as "VH") at the medical. I mention Varicella in particular because the vac is not available in the U.K., but you need to have documented history of chickenpox for the I-693 once you get to your AOS.

My husband did not have proof that he had chickenpox, so his worksheet was checked as "incomplete" and he had to get a blood titre test here in the U.S. to prove that he had the antibodies in his system. Otherwise, we were looking at $80 and up for a Varicella shot. If you're in the same position, get a blood titre test in the U.K. so that you can have your history documented. You'll save yourself a big headache once you come to the U.S. and get started on your AOS.

Make sure you leave Knightsbridge with a DS-3025 (vaccination worksheet); I've heard of some people never getting one.

I was only asked if Id had chickenpox. Not 100% sure if its on the vaccination record - its not with me at the moment, but as I said yes, that was acceptable!

They ask for records if you have 'something' that MAY affect the final decision. You can always be prepared, but if you have any extended medical history - you might want to include that. This can save time in the process.

Well just gonna throw it out there, coz I havent got any medical history really!

Had my tonsills out when i was 5, and have had some back problems but nothing that needs treatment.

I guess ill be good with just the vaccinations which makes life a whole lot easier. I mean, every question on the medical form is a no for me (unless the hospitilization qu would include for my tonsils) so i cant imagine theyd need them?

Good luck with medical, after NVC steps Yes, if you have prior vaccination records, you will save some money in the medical done by the U.S panel physician.

For lady applicants, medical will be scheduled in those better days

haha I did indeed, I figured follow the steps of the all-seeing wise one!

So I guess the general consensus is I dont need my medical records other than vaccinations? This will make things easier as I know things got split up when I was in college! (The always organised NHS!)
