Can anybody tell me what is the average time for NVC to process mail?

I have sent a letter to the NVC asking them to withdraw my I130 petition. it has been 23 days since it showed that they receive the mail in Fedex. However every time i called NVC, they say that they haven't received the letter yet. Should i send another letter or wait little bit longer.

Thank you

do you have an NOA1 and NOA2 and your petition has been sent to NVC?

are you the petitioner or the beneficiary?

:time: you dont have a timeline filled in so you might want to do that to get more help from the folks here.

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

[/url]What Do I Need to Do to Withdraw a Case?

To withdraw a petition, you must send a signed written statement requesting that the petition be withdrawn and explaining the reason to the NVC. If an attorney or accredited representative submits the request, a G-28, Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney or Representative, must accompany the request.

Please see the NVC’s contact information.

i did all of that... I already send the withdrawal letter to the NVC. My question is how long it takes for the NVC to process the mail.

since you sent it by their slowest means possible, expect slowest response. they say they prefer email correspondence.

hopefully you supplied them with all the information required or it could be even more long.
