your saying that no records found at the court house where he live right?..the main NSO is in manila thats where all the records at,and he can apply for a new one if theres NSO office near by..your dad mention about it was caught on fire meaning thats only the local record at their province,he can still apply a certified copy for it ,but if NSO itself has no record then they need to apply as new ,like new register they can ask more information at the court house/city hall the step they should do..because thats what happened to my mom no record found at the city hall, and no record at NSO also..she apply as new register..

wherever the closest NSO office they can get a copy of birth/marriage certificate .no need to go to manila for that too far away..if thier province have an NSO office and yes they can get it there.goodluck..

thats correct,(if you are filing for both parents, you must file a separate petition for each parent but you can put everything in the same envelop.2 forms I-130 .1 for your mom 1 for your dad and the rest would be the same 1 each documents needed.

Hi, this really sucks for us who filed first but was moved from CSC to TSC. I filed mine in August but September filers were worked on first? Don't get me wrong, I am happy for you but the system is unfair on how they handle cases accordingly. USCIS transferred a lot of cases from CSC to TSC because CSC was so backed up but it just doesn't make sense if after the transfer, CSC processes cases with a later receipt date. :(

i think you'll get your notice of reciept in few days or in a week after they in cash the payment.no need to file for an I-485 form.ds-3032 is a choice of agent that you choose to where the paperwork will be sending it to.For now would be better while waiting for noa 1 and noa 2 (approval)it could take up to 3-5 months.. just have your affidavit of support I-864 ready, and also I-864a if you need a co-sponsor .employment letter, recent pay stub, recent 3 years tax return ,w'2s ..NVC will send you an instruction when you get the approval notice..Goodluck ..

Sorry guys! I can imagine how you feel if you filed I-130 for your parents in September 2010 or earlier and are still waiting for your approvals. I am really sorry but I have to say I have good news! I received 2 text messages today asking to check USCIS website for my case status updates. And when I checked online... I cannot believe it! Both of my parents' cases have been approved today! 109 days after I mailed I-130. California Service Center did it in 3.6 months! Wow! I am so excited! This is the best news ever! Very happy! :)

I hope you guys get your NOA2 very soon too!
