NVC says that it takes around 20 days from receipt of the packets in the mail so I wanted to know if people have had their AOS and IV applications entered into the system sooner than what they tell us?

I mailed the AOS and IV off saturday nov. 13 and they received it on Monday nov. 15, I just called NVC and was told that it was still not in the system yet, is it possible that an NVC operator wouldn't have updated info on case status?

Anyways just want to hear some news on this as I'm wanting to keep track of the time it'll take to get entered into the system and begin processing.

07-28-08 Married.

USCIS

05-04-10 Packet I-130 mailed.

05-06-10 Packet I-130 Arrived.

05-11-10 Packet I-130 Received by USCIS.

05-13-10 Touched.

05-17-10 NOA 1 Hardcopy Received.

11-03-10 Touched. Approved.

11-22-10 NOA2 hardcopy received.

NVC

11-04-10 DS-3032, I-864 Bill received.

11-04-10 E-mailed DS-3032.

11-05-10 DS-3032 Received.

11-04-10 AOS Bill paid.

11-05-10 IV Bill paid.

11-13-10 Sent IV and AOS.

11-15-10 IV and AOS Received.

11-30-10 IV and AOS in NVC system.

12-10-10 RFE.

12-11-10 Sent requested documents.

12-13-10 Documents arrived @ NVC.

01-10-11 Case complete at NVC.

Consulate

02-09-11 Husbands Medical Exam.

02-14-11 Interview. Approved.

5-14-11 POE

When we mailed our IV and AOS it took them a little less than 2 weeks to enter it into the system. 2 weeks should be a good time frame for them to match the documents to your case. You guys mailed them on the 13th so the 2 weeks would be up on the 27th but remember tomorrow is a holiday so it might take them a bit longer. Hopefully by next week you will hear the NVC message saying that they have received your info. Good luck!

NVC received my IV package same day as your and as of 10am today it has not been entered into the system..by Nov 30th/Dec 1st it should be in the system.

Citizenship next step!

that gives me a better estimate as to when to expect it to be in the system, I was confused not knowing to count from the day I mailed it or the day they received it, hopefully it'll get to that point soon.
