Well Sujeet left yesterday to go visit India and of course I miss him already! But it's good he gets to see his family after a year and a half. He arrived safely there!

In the past 2 weeks we started our quest to buy a house, and it happened! We are sometimes very spontaneous, which I think is fun. We didn't think we'd be able to buy a house yet because of Sujeet only working in the US a little over a year now, and I am not working currently. But 2 weeks ago he applied to a couple places for curiosity's sake and we were pre-approved by several places. Then we started looking at houses only about a week and 1 day ago. We looked at about 15 houses before we found "the one" late Friday night. All this going on while Sujeet is packing, etc for his trip! So we made an offer Friday night, it was counter offered, and we counter offered back on Saturday! Then we left to go to the airport, which was 2 hours away in Orlando. We never got the call about the offer before I had to say bye to Sujeet around 5:30 yesterday. His plane was supposed to take off about 7:20. Well around that time, me and my sister were driving back home and I got the news that our offer was accepted..and then my dad text msg'd Sujeet even though he was sitting on the plane, and he text msg'd back excited, so he got to know about it before leaving for India!! So we're really happy. In 2 weeks, so much happened!!

Also today is my 2 year anniversary on Visa Journey! Yikes, that's a long time! SO much has happened since I've joined and I'm really thankful to God to be able to look back on everything Sujeet and I went through to be together and to know we are together now.

Well, just wanted to share!

Also want to encourage all those still separated from their loved ones. One day, you will be able to look back on your separation and will be so happy that the person you love is with you all the time!! The visa journey does end..... eventually! :)

About the new house, what excites me most is that I'll be able to paint the walls any color I want!!! haha....

My wife wanted to do ours pink.

*shudder*

Thankfully, I've been able to keep them white.
