Medical Tomorrow in Lurndon

My fella is headed to London for the medical tomorrow. He's scared. I'm scared. He's afraid he'll be too nervous to speak and so they'll tell him he's Class A (medically ineligible). I'm afraid they'll treat him like dirt just like all the other doctors he's seen. He's got a letter from his GP saying he's doing well. He's got his medical questionnaire with the statement about his condition that I channeled all my lawyerly ability into drafting for him. God, I hope that's enough.

Whoever out there receives all our wishes and prayers, please let everything be okay tomorrow. Please let my fiance feel safe. Please don't let the doctor be an insensitive clod. Please don't make this unbearable for him. And if you're in a really giving frame of mind, please let the doctor give my beloved the medical thumbs-up. I would really, really appreciate it. And if you don't think I'm worth the effort, please do it for my fiance. He's never broken the law, never hurt anybody--he's the one who's suffered. He is a gentle, caring, honorable man who doesn't deserve to be treated like a criminal just because he was once very sad for a long time. Most sincerely, Tigre.

The exam should be over by now and he's probably in his car on the 3+ hour drive home. He knows I'm taking a half day, so I'll see if there's a message on my machine when I get home.
