Heather we were denied last year December of 2009 221G and they sent the case back to the USCIS, with a great lawyer Marc Ellis we got the case reaffirmed August 2010, we by passed the NVC, they sent the case straight back to the embassy! Now we are just on the countdown till April. It has been a long road. 2.5 years in the process looks like it will be 3 years total when it is all said and done assuming everything goes well this time, which I am assuming it will!

I'm so happy for you! Even having to wait 6 more months for an interview is better than not having that date to look forward to! May I ask why you were denied initially? I thought it was rare to deny IR-1/CR-1 applicants!

2014-05-22: Oath Ceremony - Become a naturalized citizen!!!

11/24/09 Rcvd ROC approval ltr...dated 11/18/09

12/04/09 Rcvd 10 yr Green Card in mail
