Hi All,

I got the packet3 on 23-08-06 from Frankfurt and the form DSL-1076 is bit misleading.

At the beginning the form DSL-1076 says return DS-230 Part1, DS-156, DS-157, DS-156(K) and photo copy of each page of the passport, but at the end of the form DSL-1076 says “You should bring all of the above pertinent documents(I hope Checklist documents) and the application forms with you to the interview” so if I returned the application forms already then what application form I have take me with???

Would be great if some of the frankfurters give me some hints about what they returned to the Embassy from Packet3.

Love.

Return all of the forms... keep a copy to take with you to the interview along with the photocopies of your passport pages, pictures, the documents requested on form DS-156K, and your fiance's I-134/supporting documents. Take care when filling out the forms as the formats of the dates requested on each form are inconsistent.

You can have your medical done at any time in Frankfurt on a walk-in basis if you haven't already done so... have three passport-type photos ready for that.

Hope this helps!

Frauke, how did you mail your packet 3? We have the same dates for this piece! David mailed his as 'registered' and phoned the Consulate today... they had not received it yet and he was upset, thinking he should have mailed it differently. I had no idea how he was planning to mail it back....

i think everything is already said here:

I called the consulate and they told me to send all the forms back. so i guess when we go for the interview they will have the forms on their desk already. make sure you do not sign this one form that needs to be singed in front of the consulate official but send it to the consulate anyway, they will probably have it ready for you to be signed at the interview.

I have sent my forms as "Einschreiben mit Rückantwort" so that I can find out if it really arrived at the consulate or not. I have not received the Rückantwort yet. It will give me a better feeling once I know it got there for sure.

Thank you VisaJourney

Frauke sent packet per dhl express. She had a tracking number and was able to look it up on-line.
