i only used a giant clip and mailed in a giant stack of papers. one of those black metal binder clips.

sure everything was in some logical order, but i didn't use a folder, no binder, no holes, no paperclips, no staples, no glue, no nothing.

just a giant stack of paper and a giant clip.

I know what order things should be in, but how did you actually put it together. When I scan things such as boarding passes, do I put each pass on it's own sheet of paper, or can I put more than one boarding pass on a sheet? Did you just staple the entire package together and put it in a folder? Did you punch holes in it and put it in a binder? Does it even matter? Just trying to get this all together by friday so wondering how everyone else did it.

Paper clips and binder clips ONLY!

I used a folder type thing that had several pages with large pockets. I made labels for each pocket and explained what documents or forms were in each section. No holes, no staples, just paper clips

For boarding passes I copied each trip onto one sheet of paper.

Hope that helps.

i've opted to use only 1 clip because i've been told USCIS officers will organize the paperwork into their own folders... i figure i'm not doing them any favors other than stacking the papers in a flowing logical manner.

They may say they recommend a two hole punch but do they say what those dimensions should be? Does anyone know unless they've worked in a law office what the standard 2 hole punch width and placement is?

Put the papers in a neat stack and slide them into an envelope. Make sure they are all in there. Mail it.

Whatever you do will be disassembled and placed in their own folders how they choose immediately on arrival.

Hello,

I am sending off my k1 visa packet today. I was wondering does anybody know where I can get the correct cover letter on how to organize my documents?

Thanks

I'm using the example cover letter seen here:

https://www.visajourney.com/content/examples/

Im assembling mine right now and so far i've just opted to stack everything together in order, maybe with tabs on the bottom to label what they are. Paper clipping the big sections together.

Heres a link to the uscis's site for filing tips:
