Hi VJ members, I needed a couple of questions answered by US Embassy in Pakistan. I tried to call but the lines are always bz. The automated answering system highly recommends e mail or fax. So I e mailed....they are not responding back....what do you think I should do?

Sometimes embassies have schedules for calling like colombia one, you just can call wednesday from 2 to 4, which is insane, try to call as we do in NVC, lol, if it is busy try and try until you get through, I emailed them too, an never got an answer cus they have many emails already, I highly recommend try to get a person on the phone! it is more useful than the email waiting for an answer. I agree with JKelly, look in Pakistan consulate more info.

Good luck!!!!!

In my experience, the isl embassy takes two to three days to reply. But the replies are very brief, standard and not very explanatory. I would recommend calling them. Be persistent..try plenty of times..espcially between two to three. I have always only been able to speak to them during this time...Good luck!!
