Digital photo help needed

Why oh why are the digital pix I've taken coming out blue when developed

I hope with the combined brains here on vj sombody will know....2 very obvious questions

1 what can I do about it

2 can I do anything about the pix I've already taken

Somebody help me !!

btw its a cannon and it's a year or so old..Please help, I'm soooo disappointed

was the picture on your camera BLUE also?

it can be that you choose a wrong setting for the thing u were takin picture of

no ..not really..except for what you'd expect to be blue

On the camera it was normal but once printed it was blue?

Did you have them printed somewhere out or at home?

Where are you getting them developed at? If you are trying to print them yourself, it is possible your printer is out of other colors of ink. This may be the same if you are getting it printed somewhere. If it's at a shop, talk to one of the people who runs the photos and see if they have any idea. As an alternate, try someplace else to get your photos developed.

Very good point, printer may be out of an ink color, also do the pictures look normal when viewed on a computer screen? If normal on the computer screen then it is a problem with the printer.

If you had them printed at a photo lab, like in Walmart, Walgreens or somethign like that it's quite possible that their chemicals were contaminated when developing the prints, blue often is an indicator of chemical contamination.

If they aren't blue on your camera and you had them printed in a place like this go somewhere else and have them print one for you to test before doing the whole lot to see if they come out good, then if so take the blue ones back to where you had them printed and have them refund you for it.

I took them to walmart and then took them to walgreens....Im going to download them on my pc and see what they look like on that

Ahh then it's the pictures themselves hmm that I don't know then, could be as anya-D said, something to do with a setting on your camera

Well the ones that were good before should still be good, the new ones might be able to be adjusted in the editing software to reduce the blue.

ho hum....well at least there's hope....at least the wedding pix are ok...hope the guy at the interview tomorrow recognizes us in the others

What model of canon is it? I can do some general investigating to see if there might be information out there pertaining to blue tint for you?
