invoice number given but NVC operator said not invoiced yet???

Hi,

I just got off the phone with an NVC operator. Gave him my wife's and my email addresses then asked for the invoice number (IIN). He gave this to me (an 8 digit number), but said it had not been invoiced yet. Does not make any sense to me. Any ideas? I am not sure if I should try pay online with this number. Do not want to screw anything up by paying too soon.

It's not invoiced yet because it takes NVC about 8 to 10 days. Keep checking the payment portal site and pay as soon as it's invoiced it will save you loads of time rather than waiting on NVC. Good luck.
