Tuesday night - post Black Friday - my wife was scheduled to work till 11PM

but they closed the store at 10:30 - because it was raining and the mall parking lot was empty.

It was like the shopping season was over.

My boyfriend was out from 1 am till almost 6 am shopping :lol:

He got s 50" LCD for an amazing price, and something like almost 20 Blu Rays and PS3 games plus some $2 Wal Mart towels.

Black Friday is amazing. I can't wait to strategically hit a Wal Mart with him one year :lol:

(not a tale of Black Friday but just under the heading of "stuff at work")

My wife's other PT job is at the deli counter in a major supermarket chain deep in suburbia in NY.

Many times customers (mostly elderly) would literally shout at her if they thought she was about

to go over ONE POUND or whatever the amount of Boar's Head they wanted.

My guess is that this type of thing wouldn't happen as much in the south and it's just that us yanks

have yet to learn manners when asking for service from low-paid supermarket employees.

She said if a customer ever disrespected a Thai merchant like that, they better get ready with some self-defense moves.

Actually she said that the customer would probably get his meat between the eyes instead of in a bag with a smile. :rofl:
