I received an email today from the US Embassy in Haiti. The letter said my husband is welcome to come and get his visa, he just has to bring $10usd and his passportm my question is they didn't give him any kind of slip to come back, how is he gonna get in? Has this ever happened to any of you? Thank you in advance for you answers.

Hmm, good question! If he's close to the embassy, maybe he can just try printing out the email and taking it with him? If he's far away though, you might want to call to make sure (before you go all that way for nothing!)!

Hmm, good question! If he's close to the embassy, maybe he can just try printing out the email and taking it with him? If he's far away though, you might want to call to make sure (before you go all that way for nothing!)!

I would agree that the email may be the ticket in, however, if the embassy is far away calling ahead would be advisable.

I believe Haitians are a protected group of people in the USA.....Very Happy for you....my husband and I are still waiting...

Thanks guys! Everything went fine, they let him him in without no problems, and they told him where to go pick his passport up in 7days.... I am so happy!!!
