Changing a legal name

Hello,

I've filed my K-1 fiance visa petition in Aug 2010.

It's been about three months now and it is under review status.

I just have a question about changing my legal name. If it is possible, I would like to get this done before petition approval.

But, I was wondering if this is going to look suspecious even though this has nothing to do with my fiance.

Or should I wait until my petition gets approved?
