I am not sure why they were written off but I am assuming that since the "others" gave Walt back to Michael-they won't be going home & talking(that would be the end of the show-if they were all rescued)Then again-I wouldn't be suprised to see them again one day :yes:

The show is so good- but it drives me crazy :wacko:

Heres ian article on real estate in hollywood. the first paragraph talks about "Michael" and his wife leaving Hawaii and setting up shop in Hollywood.

I guess that means that is it for Michael in Lost.
