Package lost!!!!!! did it ever happen to anyone?

Hi,

I sent my package on wednesday, I tracked it and no status updated since wednesday night, It was supposed to be in chicago on friday morning. I am so worried, did it ever happen to anyone else?

7/28/04 we met

10/ /06 started dating long distance, not fun

7/15/08 we gave birth to a beautiful baby boy

11/11/10 we got married in amazing Santa Barbara

11/17/10 mailed I 130, I 131, AP and EAD

11/25/10 package received

12/06/10 checks cashed

12/08/10 Email/ text

12/11/10 NOA hard copies in the mail

01/ /11 biometrics walk in successful in Oxnard

02/07/11 EAD in production, AP post decision activity

02/11/11 AP in hand

02/14/11 EAD in the mail!!!!!!!

02/17/11 EAD in hand + applied for SSN

04/13/11 Interview and Approval letter, card in production!!!

Clm down, I sincerely doubt it is lost. Perhaps the online tracker is wrong. How did you send it? Can you call anyone (like UPS) to inquire about status? It will show up there, don't worry.

I sent in though UPSP ( regular post office )

I am ( as usual ) freaking out ;)

Apparently they asked me to call tomorrow 8am chicago time a manager of the chicago post office. The person on the phone thinks It hasn't left my post office :s

IMO, the USPS online tracking system is horrible. I've mailed things that are received and the tracking number still isn't registered with the system. Then I check two days later and it shows as delivered.

Don't panic and give it a couple of days.

Worse case scenario, you can always resend everything and you've only lost a few days. You did make copies of your package before sending it, right?

i ll keep you updated, i did make copies of everything so i guess if I don't hear from uscis or usps within a week i ll submit everything again,

The only problem is the prices went up today :/

well it got delivered today! ( my overnight delivery ended up being a week!!!!! ) but I am pretty happy

If you paid for express mail service and it really took a week, you are entitled to a refund of the postage fees. Take your receipt to the local post office and ask for a refund.
