NVC Gives us SECOND RFE!!

I'm so upset right now. I think the NVC is clearly handing out RFE's to stall the process. First they gave us an RFE because my wife listed all the addresses she lived since age 16, when they just wanted one address for a 6month period instead of multiple. Although they got the same information they sent it back. We call today and they tell us, my wifes Birth Certificate wasn't accepted. When My wife asked why, the person says she isn't sure. We spoke to a supervisor who than said it is most likely an error on their part. She said they don't know why it wasn't accepted but asked my wife, if it was the large Birth Certificate, which is printed on currency paper, with an official seal. My wife of course upset said YES OF COURSE IT IS!. She said was it properly scanned showing all border. My wife again upset said OF COURSE IT IS!. Im looking at it right now!. Supervisor said well Ill have to send an inquiry over to that group. It can take 10-12 business days before we can tell you why it wasn't accepted. She than proceeded to say, if all you say is true. They could of been having computer issues and downloaded the document wrong. How the hell does that happen in the 21st century? In this technological age, they downloaded the document wrong and so we get RFE'd? How is this even fair. These RFE's are bogus and BS. I just don't get whats going on with NVC right now. How can the people picking up the phone there have no clue or be unable to give us even any hint as to why it wasn't accepted or even know whats happening with our file. Now they are guessing what could be problem not giving us a clear shot answer.. Frustration is an under statement for how I am feeling right now.

Any Suggestions?

The people that pick up the phones are a call center they arent working on your case and dont have anything to do with the case. They have limited information available to them about the case on their computers so they can only speculate with that little information.

This is why it's very very very important to file all your doc's correctly

IF they find ANY MISTAKE this is what can happen.

I know many people here try doing their own claim filings

but in doing so it important that you do them right.

I did mine by attorney so there is no mistake it was done right

Yes there is chance of mistake still but more likely than not

there will not be NO MISTAKE. it not about the money its about

making sure they are done compeletly right

But for you that are doing them your self it the chance you have

in taking the chance this happens.

Sorry

But good Luck and in hopes they hurry up and get your issuses

resolved and back on track soon

:):)

Good Luck to all of you in hopes you did them all correctly

100%. They have to be perfect or it's why you get a RFE !

there can be no ERROR for mistakes, this is a big issue for you.

It's the same in your country if it not done it why they

decline your issues also there.

People have been known to get RFE's even when a lawyer has filed for them. Its not set in stone that you dont get an RFE just because you use a lawyer.

Also, by using a lawyer, you can delay the process.

This made me laugh

The OP's issue is they opted for Electronic processing at NVC level. The scanning may not be legible or may not be acceptable to NVC EP standards. Since they used "long form" birth certificate, I would assume it has all the info such as parent's name, full name of the applicant, DOB in English to be clear etc.

I agree with you that it is stalling :bonk::angry: I had an RFE for the birth certificate with EP as well. I sent the same thing back that I sent in the time before and it was accepted. So go figure. I would make sure that the document looks right after you scan it... Send it to your self and download it to make sure all of the certificate is present. I hope this is an error on their part.

This comment is hilarious

ALL you people who say Attornies do it wrong...

Take a hike. You got proof of all of them that have

attornies all got RFE's, or you just make stupid coment

becasue you dont really know.

I bet you there are more RFE done by people doing it

them self than Attornies. But for you all that did do

it right great.

But all you that think ALL attornies are bad LET'S HOPE

you aren't DENIED and never need one becasue you have

problems. And I'm sure you will have to wait much

longer also if you made a mistake. It must be why I

see so many people come on here asking for help because

they didnt do it right the first time, having no experience.

Than if your doing it yourself, you got nobody to BLAME

BUT YOURSELF.

Than face it ...experience does make a difference

But to each his own, if you do it and dont get a RFE

I slatue YOU !

But I rather take my chances with a attorney, than not.

Anybody can try doing all the forms them self.

But if you do make a mistake than you have to be UPSET

only at yourself and your own ability to have done it

incorrectly.

I'm sure some attornies do make mistake but i would bet all my

money on a attorney than without. People doing it themself have

a MUCH HIGHER RATE of RFE...Than people who have attornies !

So let just hope you dont need and attorney and dont get a RFE.

I bet my money on and attorney that has done 2 or 3 hundred

cases than somebody who doing it their first time alone ! ! ! ! !

Maybe you luck out doing it right but there the chance you

dont also. Dont tell me experience attornies and them doing hundreds dont

mean nothing. I really dont care what you think. Let's just say

you better PRAY YOU DONT GET A RFE.

I rather take my chances on somebody who knows what they are

doing than somebody trying to do it themself and not sure or

doing it wrong. Help is available here.

Doing it right and you will have a better chance on not getting

a RFE.

Yeah is makes me laugh also when i see many here making their own

problems for not doing it right also.

Maybe they did make a mistake on their case, NOBODY PERFECT EXCEPT GOD

SO if you dont fine if you do what you going to do

JUST COMPLAIN....Join all the others with problems.

There are 10 of thousand claims being processed.

Yeah you have a right to see mistakes

But what you dont have a right if they find your MISTAKE also.

What if you were working right alone and you were them working

on a claim and you found a mistake processing your claim. Dont you

think they are pissed off also becasue you didnt or failed to do it right.

Now they have to take the time out to notify of your mistake

You thinks its fun for them, when they have to process hundreds

a week or thousands ? ? ? Everybody complains about them

They dont have a right to place the blame on you if you are

not correct also ? ? ?

Think about it or place the blame always on them right ?

They are human just like you and have rights to make mistakes also.

But what if you make the mitake are you complaing to them or looking

at yourself for YOUR OWN MISTAKE ?

Something for you to like, complain about to me or to take the blame

yourself. Your fooling nobody but yourself.

NOT ME ! NOT THEM. Make your coment but let hope i dont see any of

you in the future asking for help becasue i see you did it wrong

Than let's see who laughing too !

SO laugh all you want at yourself not me.

I will save the names of you all, and let see if you ask when or

if you ask for help or get a RFE or anything with your claim in

the future also. Thans let see ! ! ! !

I get to laugh at you all FAIR GAME BACK TO YOU No problem.

Laugh all you want you think i care until i see you have a problem.

And see who ask if they know and attorney to help them, or dont ask for one

But i bet you wife over seas wont be so happy at you either...

Will she be laughing at you ? ? Think about it for your mistake ! ! ! ! !

Having to wait longer also.

Good luck for those who dont have any in the future and for you that do

OH WELL !

OH WELL !

1lovingyou2,

Calm down buddy :star:

First of all, this IR1/CR1 process is very simple procedure and most of the people do not need attorney to do this.

When attorney needed:

1) One doesn't know the IR1/CR1 procedure clearly.

2) If one has complex cases such as previous overstay or any other complex cases.

The IR1/CR1 process is this much only for simple cases - http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/EZGuideSpouse

Any Suggestions?

no need to get mad at the persons answering the phones... dl u know how call center work goes..? the persons that are processing the cases etc have not contact with customer (us) and when we call in we speak with the frind line agents whp u get mad with ... when they dont have anything detailed to tell you AS to WHYYY you got a RFE if their co-worker/s did not up date the file with details notes/instructions for the applicant/petitioner etc. Do u think they dont have to give you an answer or feel embarassed when they have to tell you they dont know why you got a RFE? Be Human

All the best to you getting mad wont help u much especially if the wife is actin out to NVC supervisors... you'll never know why the RFE was generated.

But for you that are doing them your self it the chance you have

in taking the chance this happens.

Good Luck to all of you in hopes you did them all correctly

100%. They have to be perfect or it's why you get a RFE !

there can be no ERROR for mistakes, this is a big issue for you.

It's the same in your country if it not done it why they

decline your issues also there.

I'm not here to stir you up ok.

I have NO regrets not one for not using a lawyer... saved money .. unnecessary trips to offices and other misc charges which maybe unnecessary.

For basic forms that doesnt require waivers etc can be handled by the applicant and petitioner .. try it next time - "you'll save."

Gosh I'm really sorry to hear that. I hope things will get worked out soon for you...;)
