JUST NOW?? TODAY? How did you hear? Mabrook!

Yes just now! I didnt received any email. My case was updated 11/15 and heard nothing then today my fiance received the hard copy of NOA2. Yay!!!! Got headache now of too much joy in my heart! :luv:

04/26/2010 - Met in Philippines (for 2 weeks)

05/08/2010 - Officially engaged!! ( He sent the engagement ring 09/24/2010 and he proposed to me on bended knee in Philippines with the second part of engagement ring) *melting*

06/18/2010 - I-129F package Sent

06/21/2010 - NOA1

06/24/2010 - Touched

09/23/2010 - Touched (when I contacted the Congressman's office)

11/15/2010 - Touched (hopefully the approval)

11/17/2010 - NOA2 (Received hard copy 11/22/2010)

12/01/2010 - Received a letter from DOS dated 11/29/2010 stating that the petition will be forwared to USE AD within a week and that I will received the packets very soon from embassy.

01/18/2011 - Interview. APPROVED!!! No words can express how happy i am.

01/25/2011 - VISA in hand! YAY!!!

02/20/2011 - POE Chicago (O'hare)

05/14/2011 - Our Wedding day

stupid website still says 'initial review' :)

no text and no email from them either, just hard copy to my lawyer's office, and prolly in my mailbox today or tomorrow

so my approval date was the day after my first touch if that gives any of you hope

lol, yeah, same, i eat when i'm nervous or depressed...and stupid halloween with 3 kids to bring home candy didn't help, lol

This is good! One thread where people complain about being touched and then this one where it is a happy event. I know, I know, there is a big difference between the two subjects, but I am desperate for something to keep my mind off waiting.

So funny you say that, because my lawyer was like - the NOA2 will be here in a a month and a half.

More proof that lawyers have no idea what they are talking about when it comes to K-1. Not all, but most!

Or at least are overly optimistic and tell you what you want to hear. It's a lot easier to say "it's been delayed" after they've collected their fees. :bonk:

Thanks for all the replies... but I'm curious about folks who have their NOA2, did they have their accounts touched before? (lol - their probably partying right now)

I haven't had a touch since 7/12.

Also trying to figure out what I should do IF I dont hear anything by the 6th of Dec.

I received a text & email saying to go to the USCIS website check my status on Saturday 11/20/10. Status on USCIS website said I129F is approved. I haven't received the NOA2 in the mail yet. I updated my status so people could see progress.

Yours will come soon. They can't let us all be alone for the holidays. I'm not sure we'll get everything done in time... but.. we will try. Good Luck! :thumbs:
