NOA2 Taking forever..

yeah, when i hired my lawyer on june first, they swore my fiance would be home for the holidays, "no doubts in their mind" and then it took them until july to get my papers in and it's lookin now like he will be lucky to be home by february. just remember, it'll be done before you know it, and you have many years of holidays together in your future

So funny you say that, because my lawyer was like - the NOA2 will be here in a a month and a half.

in the last 5 months i've learned what true scum lawyers really are, they will tell you whatever story or lie they need to to convince you that you need them and can't do it yourself and keep you confused and upset so you don't even attempt it. they even told me that my 1700$ fee included the entire greencard process, and then in reading the fine print i realize that it ends when the k1 is issued (my own fault i know).

but happy holidays for you as well, and hopefully we'll both get our nao2's this week

same here, Dec 17 will be my 5 mos of waiting....... i wonder if it will ever be approve, sometimes waiting is really the hardest thing to do.

just try to focus on work/family and keep busy, the time goes so much faster when you keep yourself occupied

i'm trying to get myself busy but at the end of the day the NOA2 is always at the back of my mind, waiting for it gives me a lot of stress, i dropped my weight cos of it. I hope i won't lose interest on it though.

stupid website still says 'initial review'

no text and no email from them either, just hard copy to my lawyer's office, and prolly in my mailbox today or tomorrow

so my approval date was the day after my first touch if that gives any of you hope

haha...oh yeah? i lost 5 kilos in a months time, i kept on thinking about it, if will i receive it, i just can't wait to be with him, but the CSC is killing me. I just hope they will be more considerate enough to work on it.

Im happy and sad to know Im not the only one waiting for more than 3 months for NOA2. I hope all of you can get it SOON. Because I dont know about you,guys but Patience is a virtue . . . that I dont have yet. I think, maybe, USCIS and NVC will help me to learn in the most difficult way

I know exactly how you are feeling!

We just got notification that we were approved on Nov 19th and we got our NOA1 on July 7th, but between then and now we didn't hear anything or get touched so hang in there I guess

soon enough you can call the national service center and inquire about your status
