interpreter for interview?

Hi,

I am helping my aunt and her family with her AOS case. We received the interview letter, and it says to bring an interpreter. I am not sure if this is needed, since my two cousin speak perfect English (her two sons who are also in the case - each has scheduled interviews).

Can they be interpreters to their parents? My mother petitioned for her sister, does she need to go to the interview? I know if it's a spouse or a future spouse, the petitioner needs to go.
