I agree. For $8.99 you can easily turn around 2 dvd's/week to watch, so it's worth it. But the age of streaming movies and tv shows to your tv is here, and looks like Netflix is trying to be ultra competitive for this new age and battlefront.

Finally, Big Cable and Big Satellite are no longer the gatekeepers to content. Offer us Ala Carte Channel packaging and pricing, or else. Cut the Cord!

newcomers to netflix would be saving $2 because they have upped the price on the 1-DVD-at-a-time unlimited plan to $9.99

and yeah we cut the cable cord a few years back...
