Well I have just arrived 10 days ago to the US on K3 visa and i and my husband don't really what I need to do to work and what is the first thing to start with !!!!

Should I apply for EAD with the AOS and then when I get the EAD I apply for SSN or I should apply for SSN first and then apply for EAD and the AOS together?

i don't know really what to do first ?

My secodn question is how long the EAd will take from the time I apply for it? I was thinking to apply for the SSN after the EAD is done so I will have my Card says that I can work ...

So I really don't know what to do I am lost? :help:

You need EAD before you can apply for the SSN I believe. BTW as a K-3 you can apply for EAD right away based on your K-3 status, you don't need to file for AOS yet. However if you're ready to file for AOS, go ahead and file both together.

My secodn question is how long the EAd will take from the time I apply for it? I was thinking to apply for the SSN after the EAD is done so I will have my Card says that I can work ...

EAD takes about 80 days right now on average. Once you get EAD you can apply for SSN, I'm not sure how long that's taking these days (its been a good 14 years since I got my SSN).
