Hi all. My name is Matthew and I'm just now starting the process of applying for a k-1 fiance visa. My fiance is a Canadian citizen and I just found this website today and decided to sign up to track my progress and get some tips. So I'm hoping to send my 129f packet in by friday and here is what I have so far:

129f form

g-325a from myself and fiance

letters of intent from myself and fiance

history of relationship summary from both of us

Copy of my birth certificate

Proof of relationship: 16 pictures, boarding passes, iterneraries, greyhound tickets, emails, letters, her stamped passport copy(my passport wasn't stamped even though i went to canada twice, is that normal?).

Passport style photos

I believe that's it. Do I need anything else? Should i submit a copy of every page of my passport or is my birth certificate enough? Also, is vancouver reasonably fast at getting interviews done? We want to get married in the spring of 2011 hopefully.

Thanks guys

I'm sending mine to the Dallas Lockbox. Is this the same as the Lewisville one? It's the only address they have listed to send it to. Also What fee is $340? The fee is $455 for the 129f

Come November 23, new fees are coming into effect and the filing fee for I-129f will go from $455 to $340. I suppose you are not sending out your petition by tomorrow, so the new fee should apply for you :)
