Hello everyone

My wife and I were married in 2004. I came here in 2005. In 2007, we applied to remove the conditions on my card. In 2008, we received an intent to deny and we sent more documents to proof that our mariage is true. After waiting for a long time with no answer, we decided to contact our senator. We received a letter from the senator's office showing that they contact uscis and the letter also saying that if we do not hear from uscis in 4 months we have to call them again. 2 months later, we received a letter saying that we are going to be scheduled

for interview which never happened to this time. We went to uscis office and we alyaws get the same answer: your case still pending. Every time they stamp my passport for 6 months and tell me to be patient.

It's been more that 3 years our case is pending. We really do not know what to do or what step to take. We posted our issue on another immigration site before and someone told us to file N400 which will make them process the I 751 faster. We still did not do that. We first want to know what's going on, why it's taking to long to process.

Can you plz give us some advices, what can we do? It's been more that 4 years my wife and I want to go see my familly but couldn't because of this issue. I am really getting impatient. Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you Very much and have a great day

you sent your 1-751 to remove conditions, you got a rfe for more evidence, you sent to them more prove of marriage, bona fide, no interview notice, it's possible that your application got caught up in and stuck in limbo until this decision is made sorry your in a donut hole good luck .

Bolded is what you need to do - they can't complete N400 interview until they decide on I-751 and that's what makes resolution possible. Most likely you will have interview for I-751 and N400 on the same date so bring your spouse.

1) Go to your local newspaper with your story and your documents.

2) File your N-400 right away.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.

Thank you all for your advice and help. I think we are going to file for citizenship and wait. It is just taking too long. We never heard or read about someone that has the same issue. Any way, we are going to wait, hope and pray for us and for everyone that has an issue with uscis. We want to thank everyone for their help and suport. Happy thx giving for you all.

Hello everyone and happy thanxgiving,

As we mention in our first post, We filed I751 more than 3 years ago and We are still waiting for something to happend. Now we are preparing to file for citizenship as adviced by one of the members here; however, we are not sure what to put in Part 10 - D. Good moral character. The problem is that I have been cited for littering, paid a small fine, no arrest has been made, and no jail time. The question is: how can We answer questions 15- 16- 17- 18?

Is this littering citation going to be a problem?

Any help will be appreciated.
