G-325A question

I was not sure what to put for the employment gaps when I filled out the G-325A work history. What I put was Unemployed, but technically the reason I was not working was because I was a student. Since it says employment history, my mindset was on employment- being employed or not employed- not on the fact that I was a student. Will this be an issue, that I put Unemployed instead of Student during my employment gaps? My largest gap was about three years. Also, I am only 24 years old, so perhaps they will infer that I was a student?

Doesn't matter. They only care that there are no gaps. It's just about identifying you, that's all. Unemployed is what you should put and what you did put. it's starts to get a bit pedantic if I was in say, hospital for a month so I put that.. no no you're right, it's employment history they want, and that's what you gave them.

I personally put student as my profession during the times that I was in school, however, unemployed is certainly acceptable.
