What address do you put on your US tax returns? Are you working in Romania? US? Are you back in the US to get a household set up (establishing a US domicile as needed for the I-864) or for other reasons?

Where do you consider your home to have been for the last 6+ months?

I haven't filed any tax returns at all yet because I just finished college at UCLA in the summer. I came to the states to get a job so I can be the sponsor (I-864). I never worked in Romania and in the US I had just work study but that's it. I'm not working here yet. My home for the past 6 months has definetely been in Romania...

Do you have a lease, bank accounts, or property owned in your name in Romania? This is usually the other way to show residence as well as a copy of your US passport showing the dates you have been in the country. For me where I am since I am not a permanent resident in this country I had to show leases for 6 months and receipts for the payments. A bank account showing transactions that far back would help - having one in both your names also helps show comingling of funds/validity of marriage.
