This is a somewhat stupid question and just shows how dumb I am, but I need to know, so here goes.

I'm filing the G325A AGAIN for the Adjustment Of Status. It asks me for my Alien Registration number, which according to the example form is 7 digits. There are a bunch of numbers surrounding this process, and I don't know where to find my alien registration number, or if I even have one. Is it on the visa itself? On there is a Control Number and an Annotation.

Speaking of which, the Nonimmigrant Visa Number is 8 digits according to the I485 example form, but mine is one letter and seven digits. Do I need to add the letter too?

I really, really do not speak Application Form.

A# is usually on your I-94 writen in pen or pencil by the CBP or you can find it on your NOA2, its your alien registration number.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

POE officers sometimes make mistakes writing the A-number at the back of the I-94 (it's been reported here that they leave out or add numbers). The NOA2 is the better source for the A-number, and it is 9-digits (most start with a 0...POE officers often do not write the 0 at the beginning).

You're not dumb, several people as this question a week.

The A number is located on your NOA2 (petition approval) above the beneficiaries name. It can sometimes be found on the visa under annotation, or also on the I-94 but quite often there are typos in those so the NOA2 is the one you should use.

The Non-immigrant number is the number in red on your visa. It used to be just number but lately people have said theirs have the letter "C" at the start so you would write that. Whatever is written in red on your visa, is the "number" so yes, include the letter/s
