Hmmmm...the body eventually works out pain on it's own. I don't think pain meds are needed for more than a day or two after a major surgery.

I am my surgeon's favorite patient cos I usually don't take pain meds after the first day. The brain is awesome when dealing with pain. The body is an amazing machine.

I disagree, some of us don't even have internal plumbing. rofl.gif

or is that rosemary that's good for memory :star: love that stuff! could just eat it up! not that it gives you munchies or anything... there is some stuff that does that though....:blink:

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

AGREED!! i've been through a few surgeries with a local because i had to drive myself home so couldnt be put under LOL the look on the surgeon's face when they walk in and realize they will be operating on an awake patient is priceless! i guess they dont do that too often :rofl:

i dont take narcotics so i dont even do the "day or two" thing and i agree, the body works out pain on it's own. you build a tolerance level; i have pretty high level built!
