Did you already send your I-864 to the NVC?

i did send my i864 to nvc like 2 months ago then i got fire by my new manager lol

It's possible the consulate may ask for updated financial information from you, but they probably won't. It's also possible they may call your employer, but again - they probably won't. They don't usually use their discretion to deny on the 'public charge' basis when an I-864 has already been accepted by the NVC.

There is a general requirement that the sponsor has to be qualified both when the I-864 is submitted, and when the immigration benefit is approved. If the consulate decides to follow up on it then they could tell your wife to get a joint sponsor. It would be a good idea to get a joint sponsor lined up now so that she can submit the joint sponsor's I-864 if the consular officer asks for it.
